Along with my staff comprised of several of the game’s top coaches and players, we are eager to share our knowledge with you and the next generation of volleyball enthusiasts.
The spring is finally here and we are working hard planning our 8th year Beach Camp in Long Beach, NY, and our Summer Camps for 2022.

Over the years we have developed a program for children from 6 to 12 years in order to teach basic skills of volleyball enhancing their ability to learn the game right from the start. While the focus is to have fun, the participants will pick up the skills quickly by “playing” the game. In this way, the program will provide a broad athletic basis with hand-eye coordination, balance, spatial awareness, and proprioception.
Originally we offered the Volleybees during our indoor club volleyball season but took them with us to the beach in 2016. We train once a week for 90 minutes during the Beach Camp, every Thursday in June and July. Please register soon as we have limited spots available.

Join the fun and experience the thrill and resistance of sand volleyball! Blue and Gold Volleyball Camps present for the 8th summer in Long Beach, NY an unforgettable volleyball experience.
The Hofstra Volleyball Coaches developed a concept to integrate the outdoor challenges with changing conditions, wind, or uneven surfaces to emphasize the INDOOR VOLLEYBALL rules. “Volleyball is a fast-growing sport and we want to offer campers the opportunity to learn skills in the sand – helping them on the court. Our beach volleyball camps are designed for players who want to further their all-around skills for indoor volleyball,” says Head Coach Emily Mansur. The camp will include drills that focus on passing, setting, attacking, defense and serving. We offer a great workout to practice all-around skills and ball control with conditioning being part of every practice.

– Campers are grouped by: skill, age, years of experience – Warm-up, drills/teaching skills, scrimmage, – every practice includes 15 min. conditioning – every camper gets our exclusive beach camp shirt – Equipment needed: sunscreen and a water bottle (¬‿¬)

There will be ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS after 05/22/2022, for any reason whatsoever, including early departure from camp. Canceled registrations prior to Mai 22nd, are subject to a refund of camp fees paid to date, less a $100.00 processing fee per camp cancellation.

Martignacco, Italy (January 15, 2022) Some of last year’s campers for sure remember Michela Rucli from the beach camp and the indoor season. After her outstanding career at Hofstra and the CAA championship title she turned into a professional volleyball player in the prestigious A1 league in Italy playing most of the time in the starting line-up.
